We are delighted to announce that NFU Mutual and Lane4, in partnership with Impromptu, has won a Gold Brandon Hall Group Award for Excellence in the “Best Results of a Learning Programme” category. The award was announced on Thursday, the 9th of September 2015.
The winners are listed at http://go.brandonhall.com/past_award_winners. In winning this international award NFU Mutual/Lane4/Impromptu are in very elite company, other gold award winners including Sears and Microsoft.
The award follows a programme which is being delivered over three years, cascading a series of interventions across every tier of leadership and line management, involving 650 people in total. Control groups were established, and used as a baseline. Results were compared for managers who had been trained and those who had yet to attend to understand impact.
“The interventions deployed have led to a systemic organisational capability which allow the behaviours that underpin a Winning Performance Culture to flourish.”
Adrian Moorhouse. MBE. Lane4 MD
Key business benefits have been achieved since the roll out of the intervention programme, including improved performance management across all areas of the business, increased employee engagement & more effective development planning.
“We have quality checked our objective setting and personal development plans; to ensure greater alignment with business objectives, business needs and business results. When we started our engagement survey in 2011 we were at the 19th percentile, I’m really pleased to say that we’re now on track to reach the 90th percentile and hit our target of ‘World Class’ engagement.”
Trisha Jones, HR Director, NFU Mutual
The programme is being supported by key messaging via internal communications to maintain awareness of the strategy and create a winning performance culture.
“The Winning Performance Culture programme is about developing an ethos in which each of our employees understands how they can support our business objectives, are given continuous feedback to help them work smarter and do the right thing for our customers. The success of the programme has been clearly recorded via the evaluations conducted and contribution to continued sustainable growth of our financial performance.”
Lindsay Sinclair. Chief Executive NFU Mutual
“The high quality of work and commitment to driving business results among our award winners never fails to amaze me,”
Rachel Cooke, Chief Operating Officer of Brandon Hall Group and head of the awards program.
