
Nigel Gilkes (B’Ed Hons)
Nigel has spent over 20 years working in the field of business simulation, role-play and drama based methods to enable people to develop their self-awareness and improve their interpersonal skills and impact. Also an experienced facilitator and coach, Nigel has worked with many leading organisations including Three, Barclays, Pepsico, BP, Asda and Marks & Spencer. Nigel lives with his family in North Wales and in odd spare moments has been known to run, ride, sing and speak Welsh – though not necessarily simultaneously!
Experience
Nigel has a passion for approaches to learning that help people and organisations communicate more effectively, through practising in true to life situations. He has written hundreds of role play scenarios and complex business simulations to engage participants and create compelling learning experiences. Nigel has considerable business leadership experience through his role as Director of Impromptu Ltd. He manages the relationships with Impromptu’s clients and leads Impromptu’s global network of over 100 associates. In addition Nigel has scripted, directed and performed in a wide range of film and virtual learning projects to support client programmes.
